LIP GLO is our studio’s signature lip blush technique which provides the color and definition in the most effortless way to produce the natural, ‘your lips, but better’ results.
Color is fully customized to each individual based on their personal preference, skin tone, undertone, lip tone, and severity of hyperpigmentation, if any.
Multiple sessions may required for desired results depending on client’s current lip tones or severity of hyperpigmentation.
Results can last 1-3 years with proper long-term aftercare.

PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS
pre-care instructions influence and affect the process of the service as well as final results
MOISTURIZE INTENSIVELY with thicker consistency lip product until appointment
vasaline and chapstick are NOT ideal. our personal favorite: LANEIGE LIP MASK (sephora)
HYDRATE by increasing intake of water
avoid intake of caffeinated drinks and/or alcohol for at least 24 hrs prior to appointment
EXFOLIATE lips 2 days prior to appointment
⚠ COLD SORE PREVENTION ⚠ recommended for all clients
if client has a known history of cold sores, also known as fever blisters, it is THEIR responsibility to take an oral anti-viral (Acyclovir, Zovirax, Valtrex, or Lysine) as advised and prescribed by their medical physician or over-the-counter purchases to prevent cold sores, herpes, or fever blisters outbreak.
Additionally, please avoid the following: (1 WEEK PRIOR) tanning or major sun exposure, facial procedures (electrolysis, mud masks, hydra facials, skin-needling, microdermabrasion, etc.), tweezing, threading, shaving, waxing, tinting, bleaching, henna-ing, or lasering (4 WEEKS PRIOR) Botox or fillers (including needleless), cosmetic procedures or surgeries (DAY BEFORE AND DAY OF) fish oil, Vitamin E, aspirin, ibuprofen, painkillers, or illicit drugs, caffeine (including coffee, tea, energy drinks, etc.) or alcohol, blood thinning medications, working out or activities that produces excessive sweating.

Upon booking your appointment, pre-instructions are sent in the confirmation email as well as in each reminder email (75 hours and 24 hours, respectively).
AFTER-CARE INSTRUCTIONS
a premium take-home kit is provided after each appointment to ensure clients have all the resources during healing
CLEAN in light blotting/dabbing motions with provided sterile water wipes every hour for first 24 hours
wash face and brush teeth as usual
MOISTURIZE with healing ointment at all time with a clean, disposable applicator for the first week
must clean before applying healing ointment every time
DRINK LIQUIDS out of straws and EAT IN SMALLER BITES for the first 48 hours
avoid spicy, oily, messy, and/or hot soupy foods
ICE 10 MINUTES ON-AND-OFF for the first 24 hours
swelling subsides within 24 hours, slight plump feeling for the following 24 hours
WEAR NEW DISPOSABLE MASKS every day, as necessary
AVOID TEETH WHITENING ingredients for the first week
USE SPF LIP PRODUCTS for long term aftercare
our personal favorite: JACK BLACK SPF 25 (sephora)
Additionally, please avoid the following: (1 WEEK AFTER) tanning or major sun exposure, facial procedures (electrolysis, mud masks, hydra facials, skin-needling, microdermabrasion, etc.), tweezing, threading, shaving, waxing, tinting, bleaching, henna-ing, or lasering, mouth to mouth contact, oral sex, old lip product applications (4 WEEKS AFTER) Botox or fillers (including needleless), cosmetic procedures or surgeries.
